In his new novel, Confessions of an Innocent Man, David R. Dow explores our complex, uneasy relationships with punishment and reparation in a terribly unjust world. A professor of law and history, Dow has dedicated his life to the fight against capital punishment—to righting the horrific injustices of the death penalty. He has represented more than one hundred death-row inmates during their state and federal appeals. He is also the founder and director of the Texas Innocence Network. This free event is presented in partnership with Magic City Books. The program begins at 7:00 p.m.
