For quite some time many have feared the death of the Jewish deli. But we are creating a new reality here in Tulsa. The Seventeenth Street Delicatessen is the outgrowth of nostalgic longing, cultural heritage and the generational obligation to reinvigorate the traditions of those who came before us.
Styled in the form of a pop-up restaurant, once a month we will serve the flavors of the old world right here in the Synagogue. Producing these products in-house whenever possible, we are doing our part to ensure a rich and vibrant Jewish experience for all.
Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. and for $18 you can enjoy pastrami, fresh baked rye bread, half-sour pickles, french fries, coleslaw, Dr. Brown’s soda and a black and white cookie. It is going to be a delicious evening, so make your reservations soon.
