A monthly, musical, Shabbat celebration. This is a destination for joyful singing, lively dancing and vibrant communal experiences. At 6:15 p.m. we will begin with a special Shabbat dinner prepared by visiting Israeli chefs from the Partnership2Gether program.
For the past eight years, Chef Itzik Levin has coordinated this exchange with food service professionals from the Sovev Kinneret region, Tulsa’s sister city. This year Hanna Sasson and Zohar Chen will be arriving in Tulsa to participate in the 2016 version of this program.
Chef Sasson brings a wealth of experience as a private caterer and pastry chef. Chef Chen is a instructor at Rimonim Culinary College and specializes in Asian cuisine. Together they have composed a Shabbat dinner menu to demonstrate their skills and share the flavors of their region with our community.
By 7:00 p.m. we will be singing, storytelling and experiencing the warmth of Shabbat at B’nai Emunah. No reservation are necessary for the service. But please make your reservations for the meal.
